In order to succeed in this training and capacity building component, GDA has set itself four main objectives for the next three years, namely:
- Improve the process of capitalizing on acquired knowledge and experiences;
- Improve the efficiency of GDA, through better professionalization of its operation, communication and capacity building of its staff on relevant emerging themes;
- Improve the skills of civil society executives, administration at local and national level, leaders of indigenous peoples and local communities in order to make them agents of development;
- Contribute to improving the involvement of society civil society in the management of natural resources and the promotion of the rights of indigenous peoples and local communities
