Climate change

To achieve this axis, GDA’s mission is to:

• Promote the consideration of the rights of indigenous peoples and local communities in the development of climate policies;
• Contribute to the fight against deforestation and forest degradation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions;
• Improve adaptation capacities indigenous peoples and local communities;
• Promote the inclusion of traditional knowledge of indigenous peoples and local communities in policies and projects to combat climate change.
