Aristide Chacgom has 14 years of experience in the environment and sustainable development sector. He has been working at Green Development Advocates (GDA) since graduating from the University of Dschang, where he earned a Master’s degree in Law. Over the years, he has held several positions: volunteer, intern, project assistant, project manager, and he currently serves as Coordinator.
His work focuses on analyzing legal texts related to forestry and natural resources law, as well as supporting local communities to promote social development through a rights-based approach. He also monitors national and international policies impacting development in Central Africa and works to promote governance, economic and social justice in the management of natural resources, aiming to strengthen a human-centered approach.
In his free time, he enjoys watching television, listening to music, and spending time with his children.
