The Green Development Advocates has been hosting the first general assembly of the International Financial Institutions Monitoring Group (IFI Monitoring Group).The  Group is a network of civil society organizations operating in Cameroon and specialized in environmental issues. 

Much more than she has been doing for over a decade and more now, the green development advocates is resolute in fine-tuning its avowed goals to promote environmental sanity in the Congo Basin.

Global partners commit 2.5 billion dollars for Congo Basin

Germany, the EU, the World Bank and philanthropic partners like Bezos Earth Fund would be financing projects in the Congo Basin relating to sustainable management, biodiversity conservation and community resilience to the amount of USD 2.5 billion.

This commitment was taken, November 17, during the Congo Basin Day holding at the COP 30 rendezvous in Belem, Brazil.

At COP 30, GDA would strengthen advocacy and collaboration on climate justice, land rights, and forest protection by engaging directly in policy dialogues, side events, and civil society platforms.
