Green Development Advcoates (GDA) has just published a Briefing Note that analyses some irregularities in the legal procedures of de-degazeting and further attributing 60,000 hectares of pristine forest buffering the iconic Campo-Ma’an National Park around the Campo and Nyete Sub Divisions of the Ocean Division – South Region of Cameroon, to a little known local company, CAMVERT, for an agro industrial project.
I hope this analysis contributes in providing evidence on why such a project has to be stopped and the 60,000 hectares of forest kept standing.

Green Development Advocates (GDA) vient de publier une note d’analyse sur les irrégularités constatées dans les procédures de déclassement et de d’attribution de 60 000 hectares de forêt riveraine au Parc National de Campo-Ma’an dans les arrondissements de Campo et Nyété Département de l’Océan Région du Sud Cameroun pour une entreprise locale peu connue, CAMVERT, pour un projet agro industriel.
J’espère que cette analyse contribuera à démontrer pourquoi un tel projet doit être arrêté et les 60 000 hectares de forêt préservés.
